Waterline Environmental Inc. provides Environmental Site Assessments for property owners, purchasers, lenders and tenants who may face the potential for environmental liabilities. The purpose of the assessment is to identify actual or potential environmental risks of the site. To learn more about Environmental Site Assessments regarding Underground Fuel Storage Tanks, visit www.tssa.org/regulated/fuels/environment/fuelsEnviron04.asp. An Environmental Site Assessment includes the following but is not limited to:
  • A records review including aerial photographs, property use records, title search and any other P1-ESA's conducted on the property, company records, geological and geotechnical reports and land use documents.
  • A site visit to note; property use, storage tanks/containers, hazardous materials, structures on the site, wells, use of adjoining properties, wastewater, etcetera.
  • Interviews of site personnel, third parties or governmental agencies which could include the Ministry of the Environment, Public Health Agencies, Fire Departments, Engineering and Public Works Departments and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority.

A detailed report outlining these findings and an evaluation of the findings along with recommendations is produced for the client.
